Sarah Fairbrother - President

Sarah is a Director and Head of the Family Department at Ward Gethin Archer Solicitors. Sarah also has previously held the roles of Social Secretary and Junior Lawyer representative in the Society. Sarah has been a committee member for 12 years.
Emma Stearman - Vice President

James Morgan - Honorary Secretary

James is (as was his late father before him) a past president of the local Law Society. A solicitor since 1995, James has worked in King's Lynn since 1999 when returned to the town of his birth from the city of London.
He specialises in capital taxation and wealth management via trusts and related work via his own niche firm.
Claire Williamson-Massey - Social Secretary

Claire is a Solicitor with Ward Gethin Archer specialising in residential conveyancing for the last 10 years. Claire is married with a young daughter and during her free time can be found enjoying the great outdoors horse riding.
The King's Lynn and West Norfolk Law Society has always played a fundamental part in the local area and since being encouraged to attend, it is clear that the society want to revamp its status and get everyone back on their feet and enjoying the benefits the Society can bring and it is a pleasure to be involved.
Laura Leventhall - Social Secretary

Laura is one of the Social Secretaries for the Society, and is responsible, with Claire Williamson-Massey, for organising social and networking opportunities for the Society's members. Laura was involved in setting up the first Legal Walk for King's Lynn, and was pleased to be involved in organising the second Legal Walk earlier this year. Her favourite social event is the Society's Ball, which has really taken off since the Society has reformed under Sarah's presidency.
Laura is a Solicitor in the Commercial Department at Ward Gethin Archer and specialises in commercial property transactions (purchases, sales, leases, lease transfers, refinancing), corporate matters (business/share sales and purchases, shareholder agreements and partnership agreements).
Alex Lawrence - Sponsorship and Social Media Officer

Alex is one of the Law Society's Sponsorship and Social Media officers and she shares this role with Jennifer Taylor.
Alex's role is to manage and encourage the Law Society's online presence, to promote engagement with the Law Society and to build sponsorship opportunities to support the the Law Society's initiatives. She aims to connect lawyers, professionals and partners through meaningful collaborations for the benefit of the Society's members.
Alex is a Chartered Legal Executive at Ward Gethin Archer Solicitors who specialises in all areas of Conveyancing transactions.
Jennifer Taylor - Sponsorship and Social Media Officer

Jennifer is is one of the Law Society's Sponsorship and Social Media officers and she shares this role with Alex Lawrence.
Her role is to manage and encourage the Law Society's online presence, to promote engagement with the Law Society and to build sponsorship opportunties to support the the Law Society's initiatives. She aims to connect lawyers, professionals and partners through meaningful collaborations for the benefit of the Society's members.
Jennifer is a Solicitor at Hayes + Storr, who specialises in the drafting of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney as well as the administration of Estates.
Simon Scott - Treasurer

Simon is and has been a solicitor and partner at Metcalfe Copeman and Pettefar for well over 30 years. He is our Society's treasurer. Simon is a panel deputy of the Court of Protection where his responsibilities involve managing the property and financial affairs of those who lack ability to do so themselves. He is also a registered Trusts and Estate Practitioner.
Outside of work, Simon is very much a part of his local community being the longstanding Chairman of his village social club, enjoying also trying the patience of those attending his local church, where he is organist.

Joshua Shuardson-Hipkin - Group Training Officer

Joshua is a strong advocate of the importance of a local Law Society and the benefits it can bring to the legal community as a whole. He is married with two children and resides locally in the village of Grimston. In his free time Joshua is a member of Hunstanton Golf Club and enjoys the beautiful countryside that Norfolk has to offer.
The Law Society is always interested in hearing about new training opportunities and as such please do not hesitate to contact Joshua to put forward any ideas or suggestions.
